What we collect

Hang submissions: photos, titles, stories, aisle, and optional handle, name, or email. Support and removal email. Field Guide email if you opt in when that is offered.

Automatic: Vercel Web Analytics and standard hosting logs. There is no card checkout on the Rack.

How we use it

To display and promote Showcases; handle removals and support; operate, secure, and improve the site; send Field Guide email only if you signed up; and for legal or safety reasons. We do not sell personal information. We do not use hangs to pressure sales.

When we share

With Vercel and hosting providers; email providers when Field Guide launches; affiliate networks on click-through; law enforcement when required; and a successor if the project is transferred. Public Showcases are public.

Cookies, Field Guide, and retention

Cookies are light, via Vercel and hosting.

Field Guide is optional when offered. You can unsubscribe. We do not turn a hang into marketing without opt-in.

Public Showcases stay up until removal. Support mail is kept as needed. Field Guide addresses stay until you unsubscribe. Logs follow the host.

Kids, security, and hosting

The Rack is not for children under 13. We use reasonable security. The site is hosted in the US.
