The T206 Wagner is the hobby’s most famous baseball card, pulled after Wagner objected to his likeness on a tobacco issue. Piedmont advertising backs are the scarce run — Collectibles News and Sports Collectors Digest both report only three known. This SGC Authentic example, with the grader also noting evidence of trimming on the label, led Heritage’s Summer Platinum Night.

Goudey’s 1933 set put color portraits of big-league stars on chewing-gum cards; Ruth appears more than once, and #181 is one of the keys. Collectibles News reports only six examples have reached PSA 9, with one graded higher. This Mint 9 was another seven-figure card in the same Heritage weekend.
